I started
working for City of New Britain in 1960 after passing the Civil Service
Exam.
I first worked
for Joseph Tamsky, followed by Fred Meyers, then Augie Haug & finally
Bill Issel.
I was promoted
to Planner 2 & later transferred to the New Britain Redevelopment
Commission.
I also directed
the Community Renewal Program at the request of Mayor Paul J.
Manafort
After some time
I took the exam for Director of Urban Planning & came in first on the
test.
I worked
in that position until 1991 when I retired.
